Our Mission
At J. Bauchum Music Studio, our mission is to provide high-quality music instruction and performers, promoting the love and appreciation of music in a welcoming environment. We believe in presenting top notch performers through our business and are dedicated to providing excellent service. We strive to make performances and learning moments a memorable experience. We specialize in piano and vocal instruction, as well as coaching for performance readiness. We also have a host of professional singers and instrumentalists for weddings, church services, and special programs as requested.
About our Founder
Jessica Bauchum
Jessica Bauchum, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, comes with a broad knowledge and experience of music. Her roots and her upbringing in a musical household paved the way of her reaching a successful career in music education and performance. Before her formal training of classical music from her maternal grandmother as a young child, Jessica’s parents were her first music teachers. Jessica’s father is an accomplished organist and her mother was a pianist, vocalist, composer, and choral conductor.

Jessica pursued music in college at the University of Missouri-Columbia and received a Bachelor of Science in secondary education in May 2003. She continued her studies at the University of North Texas where she earned a Master of Music Education degree in December 2004.

Jessica started her music teaching career in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, teaching elementary music for ten years. In addition, she taught private piano and voice lessons to students of all ages and many of her students have chosen professional careers in music.

Jessica currently resides in the Tampa Bay, Florida area where she continues to provide piano instruction, vocal coaching, and music consulting through J. Bauchum Music Studio, founded in August 2021. In addition to teaching, she is an experienced music minister and serves as a vocalist, pianist, and music ministry consultant for several churches in the Tampa Bay Area. Jessica is the co-founder of the music company Bauchum Sisters Music, a business in which providing services of producing, musical development, and performing are its key elements.
